L117 Bluebonnets

The bluebonnets of Texas provide a spectacular view in spring. Fields are planted, roadsides left untrimmed so we can enjoy the amazing sight of these fields of blue and white.

I lived in Texas for a while, and always drove to "hill country" south of Dallas each spring, hunting for that perfect field of blue. I enjoyed roaming the small towns, and finding just the right country cafe to eat lunch. You just can't beat spring in Texas!
