L297 Country Living

This is a classic Vermont scene. In early October the backroads of Vermont are filled with tourists enjoying the beautiful fall colors. There was a line of cars on this road in autumn. When I returned to photograph this scene in winter the roads were empty. It was very difficult returning to this spot in winter because driving conditions just after the fresh snowfall were treacherous. I was so happy to have an all wheel drive vehicle for this trip.
