L298 Through the Woods

There was a bit of fog and mist when I was hiking this path on an autumn morning. I wasn't sure why this wooden boardwalk had been built until I returned in winter and saw that the entire woods were flooded. This was a difficult place to return to because the road leading to this area was not yet plowed after the winter snowstorm. Fortunately our SUV has all wheel drive. It was definitely worth the thousand mile drive to return to this spot in January.
